So it's the very beginning of 2018. You may be thinking of selling your house this year, or you may have to sell it because of a job transfer or some other reason. There are a few things that you can do to help get your house ready for sale.
But first, let me tell you a little bit about what we do and how we help sellers. We are a family run real estate investment company that buy houses throughout Metro Atlanta. Generally we help people that can't sell their property the conventional way through an agent. This usually happens when someone has lived in a property for a very long time and it needs repairs or updates for a realtor to list it. These are our favorite types of properties to purchase. We will buy your house for a fair market value in it's current condition, then make repairs and updates and finally turn around and sell it to another buyer. To learn more about us, visit our main site at MandichPropertyGroup.com, because that's not really what this article is about.
However we aren't always able to strike a deal with every seller, whether it be in an area that we don't want, or we aren't able to come to terms on an agreed upon purchase price. For those of you that we aren't able to make a deal with, we found a great article that gives some excellent tips to sell your property in today's market:
Disassociate Yourself With Your Home
Pack up those personal photographs and family heirlooms. Buyers can't see past personal artifacts, and you don't want them to be distracted. You want buyers
to imagine their own photos on the walls, and they can't do that if yours are there! You don't want to make any buyer ask, "I wonder what kind of people live in this
home?" You want buyers to say, "I can see myself living here."
People collect an amazing quantity of junk. Consider this: if you haven't used it in over a year, you probably don't need it.
Those are really good tips from that other Weebly site. If you intend to sell your house either with or without an agent, those are all tips that will come into play to quickly get your house under contract from a buyer.
